Posting images by entering their URLs in the image tool on Chrome doesn't work for me either.

Yes, I have noticed that the "Expand" feature no longer works (for me, using Chrome on Windows 8.1). I thought it was my computer, so I began to unload items I had recently installed, only to find that nothing helped. I will also add that whenever this feature did actually work (especially in the recent past), the final displayed image was no larger than the exact same image on the original page.

Although I think part of it is the last update for Chrome borked Kinja badly. I can open pages in Firefox and see nearly all images just fine but Chrome...holy shuddering crap it's a damn mess.

There's been half a dozen instances in the past couple of months where I was THIS close to saying screw it and walking away or at least taking a long breather...
